Rapids Camp Sagana is Kenya's premier adventure camp and the largest campsite in Kenya, accommodating over 800 people. Located along the Sagana River in Muranga County, we offer white water rafting, zip lining, abseiling, kayaking, bungee jumping, team building, conferencing, camping, accommodation, and authentic Kenyan & Indian cuisines. Award-winning camp, host of the 1st African Rafting Championship 2026.

Our Story
Rapids Camp Sagana is the ultimate adventure destination in Kenya, situated along the scenic Sagana River in Muranga County. We are the largest campsite in Kenya, capable of accommodating over 800 guests, and offer the widest range of adventure activities under one site including white water rafting, zip lining under the bridge (the only one in Africa), abseiling, kayaking, bungee jumping, the plunge, waterfall challenge, water glides, slalom kayaking, moonlight walks, and bush breakfasts. In 2026, Rapids Camp Sagana was privileged to host the First Rafting World Cup Series and Continental Rafting Championship — welcoming over 40 countries to Kenya. Our facilities include: • The Rafters By Rapids — luxury room accommodation with Mount Kenya views • Camping grounds with clean linen • Rico Kitchens serving Kenyan, Indian, Chinese, vegan/vegetarian cuisines (from KES 1,400) • Conference and meeting facilities • Team building grounds with 12+ activities • Zip line — the only one under a bridge in Africa We cater to corporate teams, schools, families, couples, religious groups, and international tourists. Our programs include team building, school education trips, agro-tourism, aqua-tourism, gap programmes, religious camps, and honeymoon packages.
